ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2008

I am pleased to announce that the Annual General Meeting for 2008 will take place on Saturday, 12 April, in Committee Rooms 5 and 6 at the RNIB Headquarters, 105 Judd Street, London WC1H 9NE.

The Programme for the day is set out below:

10.30 am Coffee and chat

11.00 am "Confessions of a Music Loving Piano Tuner", presented by Richard Foster, Chairman of the Association of Blind Piano Tuners and Member of VIMA

Lunch. Bring a packed lunch or explore the various eateries just across the road from the RNIB building.

1.15 pm The Annual General Meeting

Members are welcome to offer to stand for the posts of Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary and two Committee Members providing you have a proposer and seconder.

You are also welcome to contribute to Any Other Business on the Agenda if time allows.

We must leave the building by 3.45 pm.

Our Liverpool Music-Making event has been booked for Saturday, 19 July 2008, at the Bradbury Centre, Youens Way, East Prescot Road, Liverpool, from 10.30 am to 3.45 pm. This is a nice relaxing day, with the opportunity of sharing music together and indulging in a fish-and-chip lunch.

This reminds me that I failed to put a write-up of this year's Liverpool event into the hands of our Editor for inclusion in "Posthorn" 46, for which I apologise, but please read on.
